The KAROO230W folds up to the size of a phone book, making it easy to fit into any vehicle or trailer.
Built with Flexopower's winning formula: shingled solar cell technology encapsulated in Teflon.
The modules are encapsulated in Teflon (ETFE). This is the optimal encapsulation for portable solar panels. Flexopower exclusively utilizes Neoflon from Daikin (Japan).
Shingled solar cell technology. Shingled solar cells produce more power per square meter and are more resilient to partial shading losses.
- Shingled solar cells are connected in groups and configured in parallel, greatly reducing losses from partial shading (other panels typically have their cells wired in series, causing significant losses if part of the panel is shaded).
- Shingled solar cells minimize the spacing between individual cells and eliminate the silver metal strips that typically run across traditional panels, which reduces the overall footprint of the panel. Smaller panel = less packing space.
- Securing solar panels: Fabric loops allow securing.
- Quality assurance: each solar panel is assigned a unique serial number, which allows it to be traced throughout the entire manufacturing and quality control process.
