Wild Dog 4×4 Winch Extension Strap
The Wild Dog 4×4 Winch Extension Strap is a lightweight, low-stretch recovery strap designed to extend your winch’s reach when the nearest suitable anchor point is just out of range.
Manufactured from high-quality South African polyester, it provides excellent strength and durability while maintaining minimal stretch under load. It is ideal for controlled vehicle recoveries in deep sand, mud and demanding off-road terrain.

Important Safety Instructions
- Use this product only to extend the reach of a winch rope or cable.
- Do not use it as a kinetic recovery or snatch strap.
- Never use it for lifting or conventional towing.
- Use only correctly rated shackles, recovery points and anchor equipment.
- Ensure every component in the recovery system is suitable for the expected load.
- Inspect the strap, reinforced eyes and stitching before every use.
- Do not use the strap if it is cut, torn, frayed, burned, melted or severely abraded.
- Always use a recovery damper on the winch line.
- Keep passengers and bystanders well outside the recovery area.
- Follow recognised winch-recovery procedures.
Care and Maintenance
Remove sand, mud and debris after every use. Rinse the strap with clean, fresh water when necessary and allow it to air-dry completely away from direct sunlight.
Store it inside a recovery bag or suitable container, away from moisture, chemicals and prolonged exposure to sunlight.
