Protect your diesel fuel system against water and particle contamination with the Direction-Plus™ Universal PreLine-Plus Pre-Filter Kit – PL801DPK.
Supplied with a mounting bracket and 10 mm fittings, this innovative diesel pre-filter system provides a high level of water separation and particle pre-separation. It is designed to perform in extreme weather conditions and areas where fuel quality may be unreliable.
Water-Separation Efficiency
The PreLine-Plus provides up to 100% water-separation efficiency* and offers a long service life. It is designed to meet the demanding specifications of leading diesel fuel-injection system manufacturers.
By removing water and particles before they reach critical fuel-system components, the PreLine-Plus helps protect against corrosion, abrasion, premature wear and costly repairs.
Multi-Stage Water-Alert System
The PreLine-Plus Kit includes an intuitive remote multi-stage water-alert system. Visual and audible warnings notify the driver when water is detected in the fuel, eliminating the need to rely solely on manual inspections.
The alert becomes progressively more urgent until the collected water is drained and the sensor is reset.
- Stage 1: Runs for one hour with a beep every 10 minutes and a slow LED pulse. Flashes and beeps three times.
- Stage 2: Runs for 30 minutes with a beep every 30 seconds and a medium LED pulse. Flashes and beeps six times.
- Stage 3: Runs for 30 minutes with a beep every 30 seconds and a fast LED pulse. Flashes and beeps nine times.
- Stage 4: Runs for 30 minutes with a beep every 30 seconds and a rapid LED pulse. Flashes and beeps 15 times.
- Stage 5: Activates continuously with a beep every five seconds and an intense LED pulse. The alert continues until the water is removed and the sensor is reset.

Upgrade to the PreLine-Plus 250 Element
The kit is supplied with the standard PreLine-Plus 150 Element. It can be upgraded to the PreLine-Plus 250 Element, which provides a flow rate of up to 250 L/h.
This upgraded element is ideal for vehicles where engine output has been significantly increased beyond the original factory specifications and a higher fuel-flow rate is required.
