Supplied with a 30-micron filter element, mounting bracket, 10 mm fuel hose and fittings, this universal kit helps protect modern common-rail diesel engines against contamination and costly injector failure. It is designed to perform in extreme weather conditions and areas where fuel quality may be unreliable.
Protect Your Diesel Engine
Fuel contamination does not only occur while travelling through remote areas. Water and particles can enter diesel at various points during storage, transportation and refuelling.
Water contamination and poor fuel lubricity are responsible for a significant percentage of diesel fuel-injection system failures. The Direction-Plus™ Fuel Manager Pre-Filter Kit provides additional protection for modern common-rail diesel engines.
How It Works
The Direction-Plus™ Fuel Manager Pre-Filter is installed between the fuel tank and the original equipment manufacturer’s fuel filter.
It removes most water and particle contamination before the diesel reaches the vehicle’s original filter. The original fuel filter can then perform the final, finer stage of filtration, maximising the protection of the injectors and diesel fuel system.
