RAPTOR Acid Etch Primer
Prepare difficult metal surfaces for painting with RAPTOR Acid Etch Primer. Its phosphoric-acid etching formula improves paint adhesion to substrates such as galvanised steel and aluminium while creating an anti-corrosive barrier that helps prevent bare steel from rusting.
It is ideal for new bare-metal panels and small areas where an existing primer coating has been rubbed through during surface preparation. The flat-fan, high-atomisation nozzle produces a wide spray pattern for smooth, consistent coverage.

Application Note
Ensure the surface is clean, dry and free from rust, grease, silicone and other contaminants before application. Apply light, even coats and observe the manufacturer’s recommended drying and overcoating times.
Although the primer can be directly top-coated without sanding, compatibility with the selected paint system should be confirmed before application. Always follow the manufacturer’s preparation, application and safety instructions.
