Water contamination and poor fuel lubricity are responsible for a significant percentage of diesel fuel-injection system failures. The Direction-Plus™ Fuel Manager Pre-Filter Kit helps protect modern common-rail diesel engines against contamination and costly injector damage.
How It Works
The Direction-Plus™ Fuel Manager Pre-Filter is installed between the fuel tank and the original equipment manufacturer’s fuel filter. It removes most water and particle contamination before the fuel reaches the original filter.
This allows the vehicle’s original fuel filter to perform the final, finer stage of filtration while providing additional protection for the injectors and diesel fuel system.
